Wednesday, September 12, Weaving on the Cricket Loom
Weaving has become the talk of Bandera since we opened up in our new shop space. Not only can you de-stash your closet full of yarn, but weaving is a tactile experience that changes how you look at your yarns. You don’t have to know how to knit or crochet to weave. We provide the looms to learn on!

Anyone can dye yarn, but how do you plan for your appliqué project. Tanya is an avid quilter and sewer. The fabric you will be dying will be part of the wool appliqué  and the rug hooking class taught Friday. This is a three-fer because you get the best of all worlds: custom dyed fabric and a chance to put it in action!

We like to end the retreat with some peace and harmony. Sitting around the table and doing needlework is a perfect way to be social and share the weeks fun.

Saturday, September 15, Wool Appliqué
You have dyed the fabric. You have seen how shapes and colors make a project pop. Now you can sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labors with a wool appliqué project. If you already sew, then take this time to add wool to your life. We use only 100% American wool.
