Before and Not Quite Finished

As we gear up for the Hill Country Retreat, I am also gearing up to bring home some baby Merino’s. Before the babies can show up, I have to clear the cedars and mend the fences, create a smaller pen where they can safely graze until they are ready for the bigger pasture. The clean up is time consuming and meditative. The current clearing will be where I set up picnic tables for my family and guests. The area overlooks my smaller pasture where I am happy to say…the grass is growing!!!!

The greatest find…My Two Texas Hearts. I am stoked because these are rare but amazing finds. They are rare because most people overlook the rocks. However, these two beauties could not have been more obvious. Bringing the property back to life is a true labor of love!
