The last two days have been phenomenal for being on the water. It rained Friday night and I think it rained again last night. It was hard to tell because everything is covered in a thick dew this time of year. Even the cement looks rained on. When the rains do come to our neck of the woods, all the gross air is scoured clean and the views of the mountains and islands are crystal clear. To add to the beauty of our landscape, the water also reflects the crisp colors. It looks almost as if a painter came through and rain her brush in wavy motions back and forth to mirror the curves and clusters of color from sea level up. I can’t always capture what I see. Here’s my interpretation.
View is of Santiago Peaks (or Saddleback as we fondly call the mountains just east of the coast).
