Tools: US7 Circular 24″ and 16″, Crochet Hook, Darning Needle, 8 balls of Jamieson’s Aran, a copy of “The Very Easy Guide to Cable Knitting…”, and a copy of Knitting Pure and Simple Pattern KPS 215 Basic Vest for Men.
Worked from bottom up, you employ all the basics of top down just from the bottom up instead. I used one needle for 80% of the work. The worst of it was the last two inches on the second sleeve. Took me forever. The beauty of this sweater is that it fits all body shapes because the cables create the shaping for you. No decreases or increases. Just let the lines fall where they should.
